Allyson McLean ACNP-BC, Vice-President

​Allyson McLean received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Missouri Kansas City in 2007. She started her nursing career in critical care and began a love for neuroscience at that time. Allyson has worked at four different level one trauma centers including areas of; Colorado, Arizona and Missouri in critical care, emergency and trauma medicine. She became a certified critical care nurse and always had a strong desire to learn new things. She obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing in 2014 from Grand Canyon University and became a Board Certified Adult Geronotological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She has been working in Neurosurgery since the start of her career as a Nurse Practitioner.
 
Allyson is married to her high school sweetheart, Michael. Michael McLean is a professional tuba player and founder of Colorado Brass, a British-style brass band. During their early years together they travelled and lived in many places in the United States. They have moved back to Colorado and have 3 children. When she is not working, she is spending time with her husband and 3 young kids enjoying beautiful Colorado.
