Emma joined the Colorado Brass Board of Directors in 2025 after originally connecting with the band a few years prior. Coming from the nonprofit sector, Emma enjoys connecting community with purpose, finding joy in the power of community and a shared love of music. She currently chairs the Development Committee, and organizes Front of House for the band.

​Emma attended the University of Delaware earning a B.A in Interpersonal Communication and Anthropology and later moved to Colorado to earn her M.A in International and Intercultural Communication with a focus in advocacy from the University of Denver. She went on to join Impact on Education, the foundation for Boulder Valley Schools, as their Donor Relations Manager.

While Emma did not pursue music professionally, it was always a core part of her upbringing. From as long as she can remember, she was either taking piano lessons, singing in various choirs, or tagging along to her sister’s guitar lessons and she is proud to help represent an organization that keeps her connected to music.
